Many of us, if not directly affected by the Coronavirus this year, will be affected by one of the CARES Act provisions which were enacted by Congress in March 2020.

The CARES (Coronvirus Aid, Relief, and Economy Security) Act is a $2.2 trillion economic stimulus bill passed in response to the economic fallout resulting from the Coronavirus outbreak. You may be familiar with one of the more wide-reaching provisions: the stimulus money sent to tax payers aimed at stimulating the economy, or the temporary changes to unemployment benefits for individuals and small-business forced out of work.
